Pigeon Forge has a lot of fun attractions for visitors to enjoy, some of which include its great museums. They bring their topics to life through fun and interactive activities. Find out more by reading over this list of 3 Pigeon Forge museums you have to visit:

1. Titanic Museum

Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge

You’ve probably read about this famous ship in your history book, as its infamous demise shocked the world. The activities at Pigeon Forge’s Titanic Museum help bring the information off the page. When you come inside, you are given a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger. You can then discover what their experiences on the ship were like. See models of the different living quarters and walk up the $1 million replica of the Grand Staircase. The other part of the museum teaches visitors about the unfortunate events that occurred in the early morning hours of April 15, 1912. Try to maintain your balance on a sinking stern, feel the chill of 28℉ water, and sit in an actual-size lifeboat. At the end of your visit, see what became of the passenger on your boarding pass in the Titanic Memorial Room.

2. Alcatraz East Crime Museum

The Alcatraz East Crime Museum is another one of the great Pigeon Forge museums. Here, visitors learn about the history of crime in the United States. It is appropriately named after the once famous military fort and maximum security prison in San Francisco, California. Go through the exhibits to learn about different aspects of crime history. Start out by discovering how crime has evolved, from the outlaws of the Wild West to cyber-crimes. Next, about the consequences of these actions when you walk into a full-scale model of a police station. Get booked for a crime, take a lie detector test and sit in a jail cell. The attraction also houses a CSI exhibit where you can learn about methods for solving crimes, some of which include ballistics and DNA analysis. Put this information to use when you step onto a model of a lifelike crime scene. End your visit by learning about crime prevention. Be sure to check out some of the cool items in the Artifacts Center as well!
