If you and your family want to take a trip to town during your stay at our cabins, one of the best things to do is going to look at the Christmas lights. 1. Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights

Guests of the Smokies absolutely adore the Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights. It’s a fun way to both see the magical lights and go on a scenic trolley ride around town. The tour lasts until the end of January, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the trolley ride of lights. Admission is $5 per person. You’ll get to see one-of-a-kind lighting displays placed up and down the Gatlinburg Parkway. The displays will feature adorable animals that are home to the Great Smoky Mountains.

Tip: Children under 3 are free if they are sitting on an adult’s lap. The trolley is enclosed and heated for added comfort.

2. Gatlinburg’s Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade

It is an extravagant celebration with marching bands, giant balloons, and even Old St. Nick himself makes an appearance each year. Community members and local businesses really put in a lot of effort to make the parade each year better than the last!

You can enjoy seeing the beautiful Christmas lights and decorations while you’re getting your shopping done at The Village. This tourist hot spot features 27 stores and some places to eat.
