One of the best ways to get around is to use the Gatlinburg city trolleys. They can take you to all major areas, from which you’ll find it easy to stroll to particular attractions. The system works on this schedule:

  • Modified Schedule: February 26 to April 30 – 10:30 am to 10:00 pm
  • Regular Schedule: May 1 to October 31 – 8:30 am to midnight
  • Winter Schedule: November 1 to February 28 – weekdays, 10:30 am to 6 pm; Friday and Saturday 10:30 am to 10:00 pm

Transit season passes are available for frequent visitors; otherwise, individual fares range from $0.50 to $2. Persons with physical challenges have access to van services with wheelchair lifts.

The trolleys run seven days a week from May through October, with reduced routes the rest of the year. During winter, inclement weather may cause some delays or cancellations.
