So many people spend time planning vacations, but forget some of their biggest questions. So, before you rent a cabin in Gatlinburg, take a look at these questions to make sure our Gatlinburg cabins are right for you!
1. Where is the cabin located?
We have cabins in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, TN, right in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Whether you want to be secluded, away from all of the hustle and bustle of the Parkways, or you want to be near all of the restaurants and attractions in the area, we have a cabin that can exceed your expectations.
Of course! There are so many places to shop, explore and eat in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Take a look at our post about ‘Great Restaurants to Visit in Gatlinburg’ and go ahead and start making plans to try them out!
At our cabins, you will feel secluded while also being a short distance from all of the fun things to do in the area.
In addition, our cabins are right around the corner from many convenience and grocery stores. This way, you don’t have to worry about making sure you have absolutely everything. If you happen to forget something, there’s plenty of places to pick up any last minute items!
We understand that everyone is looking for something special when they book a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. At Gatlinburg Cabin Rentals, we have everything you can imagine in a cabin. We have thought of everything that can make your vacation better, like these great amenities:
- Hot tub
- Jacuzzi tub
- Game rooms with pool tables
- Free attraction passes daily
- High speed Internet
- Home theater
- Outdoor grill
- Washer and dryer
- Fully stocked kitchen
4. What do I need to bring or pack in my suitcase?
- The weather in the Smoky Mountains varies, but it is generally warm enough to get away with just a light jacket (unless it’s the snowy winter season). When you’re hiking you’ll want to make sure to pack layers of clothing as higher elevations are obviously a bit cooler than lower elevations. You will want to make sure you have comfortable shoes if you plan on hiking or wandering up and down the Parkways.
For more information about hiking safety and things to pack for hiking in the Smoky Mountains, visit the National Park Service website.
- Many people like to pack non-perishable food items, then stop at the store when they arrive to pick up anything else they need. Make plans to do a cabin cookout at one of the outdoor grills, or pack what you need to have a picnic in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Other items many people forget are:
- Paper products
- Dishwashing soap
- Laundry detergent
- Bug spray
- Sunglasses and sunscreen (yes, even when it’s not summertime!)
- First aid kit, just in case!
- Camera or video camera
When you’re planning your vacation to Gatlinburg, we know you want the best view possible! It’s incredibly relaxing to wake up surrounded by mountains, spend the afternoon outside taking in the fresh mountain air and retreat back to the cabin after a delicious dinner staring into the mountainside.
